Now, this pinball machine I started at the beginning of the second week when none of the kids were at the library and I needed to keep my hands busy. I have to keep making things in case a kid does come in they can see me working on something that captures their attention. This definitely did the trick. I had a bit of help from some of the kids, but generally the ones that were around started work on the Foosball table as well as another (as yet unfinished, but very intriguing) marble-drop game. Again, I didn’t know if it was going to work at all having never tried something like it before. It was a success in the creation of it as well as it’s enjoyability to play. It captured a lot of attention. So objective achieved!
