Photos of Rodriguez Library

March is finally here, which means one thing: Photo Gallery. I have been planning to have a photo galley at Rodriguez for months now, because I wanted us to have a big project to look back on. That ended up being very popular at our space–we have one of the DSLR cameras because the Makers love taking photographs with it.
I had hoped to pick a stronger theme than “MakerJawn,” but as always the Makers rule the project, and we got a diverse focus for our groups of photos. I think my next steps would be taking our photography skills to the next level (this level is mainly stressing that they have to focus the camera). I was thinking that some Photoshop tutorials and short lessons would allow them to manipulate their photographs as they’d like to. For now, I am happy with what we have.

During our photo gallery, I want to have a vote for which three pictures should be large printed, and maybe get them framed and displayed in the Makerspace.

Here are some of the amazing pictures we took over the month!
